A dark, dark day in our nation. Motive could have been thinking these two nurse practitioners might carry drugs, or it could be a junkie who'd kill for $2 and a bottle of Tylenol (but we're told they are 'non-violent' addicts). Or.....it could be a hate crime against Catholic Christians.
To me, the quoted paragraphs below say a lot but I don't think most people will note it, being far below the fold and then sandwiched between a map and giant photo captioned, "Should swimming with dolphins be banned" (like this is important in light of the story at hand).

No one else will see them, she said.
The Clarion-Ledger of Jackson reported that Dr. Elias Abboud, the clinic owner, said the sisters raised money to care for the poor.
"They would treat them for free," he said.
