You might be aware of a reporter Stocile who by his own words made a living doing what used t be called yellow journalism. The regularly reported about rising crime rates.
At the end of his series he stated that crime rates were far higher in the 1920's then they are now.
If. you look for TRUE numbers they are virtually impossible to find. AN EXAMPLE-incest- how much of this crime is actually reported. How could we KNOW a difference in the number REPORTED in say the 1960's compared to now and so surely know whether it is rising or falling.
I am white and from your post I assume you are too. Our population has doubled since the 1950's. In the 1950's our population was 8% black. Today it is 13% black. Thus while our population has doubled, the black population has grown four times. Simply stated whites are not having as many kids as are the blacks and Hispanics.
In our LIBERAL POLITICALLY CORRECT SOCIETY we are not allowed to even SEE the facts.
Perhaps, it is directly related to economics. When, you tax something you will have less of it. When, you subsidize something you will have more of it.
