If you would fact check, you'd know that you ARE voting for "the party" and NOT "the man". Because the electors, the electoral college is the ONLY vote that counts. You elect an elector, that's ALL your vote does. That elector is PLEDGED to his party and normally they vote for whom you voted for...or thought you were voting for. BUT...the electors are under NO...I repeat...NO binding requirement to vote along party lines.

That's the "beauty" of the founders system...ALL the meaningful "elections" are fixed. The "house", the "system", the "ruling class" always wins. WHY is the SCOTUS "elected" by the Senate? It's another branch, we should be voting for them too. But the founders knew that "we" couldn't be trusted and the "ultimate arbitrators" must be controlled.

It's all fixed and we can't change it. And they're really screwing us over with immigration. The country will be a minority majority within 30 years. It'll be Mexico II.
