If what I've read is correct, it states killing runaway slaves is not only fine...but encouraged.
Are there really folks who DON'T find this reprehensible?
And unlike some, I couldn't be more proud of our President for acknowledging that we ALL have the SAME rights...not just the rights/people we like.

Looking for reason to disrespect our National Anthem is your right. Words were written by Francis Scott Key and here they are;
America's National Anthem (All 4 Verses)
Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved homes and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heaven-rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
