Re: Adult cat needs new home
Honestly, it doesn't sound like this is an easy decision for Michelle. It is hard to parent an infant and have a feline that is a big shedder (especially this time of year). Somehow, you have to find time to clean a house, feed the family, take at least one shower a week in between the baby demands and sleep deprivation and find time to brush a cat daily. If typical, she's probably getting ready to go or is back at work already. Factor in that she may not have any family in the area (a common occurrence nowadays) and giving up the cat may be the only alternative that she can see.
I'm hoping that Michelle loves her kitty enough to try the lion cut first ($45 at the Village Groomers and lasts a few months). This may be the best solution. Here's hoping!
