It may not be personal debts but since he has these financial relationships with these places he may be influenced by them to make policies that favor big banks or trade deals favoring china in order to reduce his debts. Similarly he wants to cut taxes for the top 1% meaning himself. The presidency is all very convenient for Trumps financial bottom line. He would financially benefit greatly.
