We all are aware that Obama added TEN TRILLION DOLLARS to the national debt. BUT, what do we know?
i for one have repeatedly asked and frankly personally tried to discover WHAT DID HE BUY WITH TEN TRILLION DOLLARS?
To my shock, I have discover that contrary to what most of our people think China is not our largest creditor we actually owe slightly more to Japan then to china-HEY WHAT'S A FEW BILLION BETWEEN ??????FRIENDS???????
More important to the retired people-Japan and China together hold less than 20% of our National debt. SOCIAL SECURITY HOLDS 42% OF THE NATIONAL DEBT. Understand that-we I trusted our government to hold the money they forced me to pay into that system for 45 years of working AND THEY, AND OBAMA, SPENT MY MONEY.
RE: Tax cut
Realize that what has always been the case re: taxes-everyone wants but no one wants to pay. YOU like the res of us want OTHERS TO PAY but not us. We have heard about corporations paying zero tax, Hey people a corporation is just a paper document. The profit is distributed to the stock holders AND THEY PAY TAX ON THAT MONEY. For those of you that do not own stocks and are screaming that they should increase taxes on stock holders as they have SAVED MONEY-that they have paid income tax on-and now thanks to the Bush tax cuts pay a max of 15% on dividends. WELL realize that even if you think you don't own stocks YOU DO. Your union pension, your 401k, your 403b etc are all invested in stocks.
As to spending money on our military. This too has been a problem throughout history. First of all having a military is expensive. The tax payers, YOU INCLUDED, do not want to pay for it, so having a military and not using it becomes impossible. Eisenhower delivered his famous speech, warning us to beware of the industrial military complex. So much of our research is funded by the military so it is considered for military application. Much of it is also used for and by civilians. Digital photography was invented for the military. It is the only practical way that we have found to transmit SPY photos to earth from space satellites. There are many others such a plastic surgery, gps, nylon, even flight-the wright brothers received some military funding.
BALANCE-frankly I do not know but it is DOMESTIC SPENDING, and on the other side, we spend more on our military then the entire rest of the world does.
As I've already stated, Obama added TEN TRILLION DOLLARS TO THE NATIONAL DEBT. For better or worse IT IS DONE. To pay that INCOMPREHENSIBLE SUM we MUST cut the big stuff. The problem is we think the big stuff is sacred.
To pay the OBAMA DEBT, we must cut the MILITARY, EDUCATION, AND SOCIAL SECURITY.
