We actually lived in NY at the time BUT some interesting stuff. Florida has as many electoral votes as NY does-a surprise to me. If, you recall the HANGING CHADS FIASCO.
In the end Bush took Florida by only 895 votes.

There is a limit on the dollar amount that a politician can take as gifts. A million 5 loan to a couple with a negative net worth on the open market rate would be???????????

This election will decide how this country proceeds for generations due to the power to appoint supreme court judges. The democrats launch the racist charge at the republicans. It is sadly funny because the republicans not the democrats advanced equal right for black people AND YET THEY PREDOMINATELY VOTE DEMOCRATIC. They will launch the charge that Trump demeans women. Yet. trump has many female executives in his organization-his business.
Trump is a bit of an unknown with no history as a politician. The Clintons have a long history OF BEING DIRTBAGS. They have bought many in political power.
Hillary is actually running for an ILLEGAL Clinton third term.
