Lat I looked it was 19 Trillion NOT 21 almost 22 Trillion
Just like a lot of Republicans keep saying he has run up the debt more then all his predecessors combined that is not true in order for him to have done that he would have had to run it up as much as the debt was when he took office and that was 11.8 Trillion and our debt would have to be OVER 23 Trillion dollars NOT 19
Fact is there have been two presidents of the US that have run the debt up more then all their predecessors combined and both of the were Republicans, Ron Reagan and G W Bush
Reagan took office with a debt of 998 Billion and when he left it was 2,8 Trillion
G.W, took office it was 5,8 Trillion and when he left it was 11.865 Trillion
Yes GW and Reagan only presidents to run the debt up more then ALL their predecessors combined

Not so fast.

By the time Obama leaves office, the national debt will be way over $20 million, because it is just short of it now.
The national debt will have doubled during Obama's administration. What other presidents did is not relevant. This president made promises that he did not keep. You loyalists seem to forget real easy. This is just another of his many failures.
