If your house is less than 10 years old, you might want to check to see if the unit is still under warranty. I called Chuck Farrell, thinking we were out of the warranty period (without checking the paperwork) and he told me to check to be sure it was out of warranty. Sure enough, ours has a 5 year parts and labor and 10 year parts warranty, and it was covered. Chuck could have very easily done the needed repair and charged me, and I would have gladly paid. When I do need out of warranty work Chuck will be the first person I call - he is an extremely honest guy.
