We live in the east side of Osceola Hills where there are LOTS of new homes being built so we always have to deal with construction traffic, and we think they obey the rules of the road pretty well. For example, if we are driving along Deskin and a construction vehicle is driving on a side road, they always stop and wait for us go by.
One time I was walking along and I saw a truck go through a stop sign, but it was in an area where no one lived and it was about 50 yards from where I was walking, so it did not bother me.
I am all for enforcing rules (especially traffic and dog leash) but somehow I have warm feelings toward the construction workers. They work very hard under tough conditions. One morning during my morning walk one guy even offered me a bottle of water. I guess an old guy sweating must look kind of pitiful.
