That's because the voters do not or should not let personality dictate their vote. Voting party, at least gives one the impression that they are voting along with political ideology. If you can't understand that, then you will also lose lots of money at the race track. You do check their track record, but that's during the primary. Once that is over, you vote party because that is where the line is divided. If that doesn't make sense, then you are a lost cause. You don't listen to their lies during their campaign. You check them out like you would if you were reading their resume' for a position of employment in your company.
