I know many want to say "we all do" and to a certain level that is true. But it can't go unchallenged - When the President campaigns (and all of them have either for themselves or someone else) then a determination must be made of what the trip is for. If only for the campaign, then the political campaign/party being supported must pay. The trip can also legitimately be both "business" and "political" in which case, the costs are split between "all of us" and the political campaign/party.

No, I am not posting as an adherent of any party, Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Socialist, Communist, Green, TEA Party, or any other that can be brought up. I just can't stand to see people claim what is only partially true to be the "God's honest truth." OK - time to hit back.
