I think it would make a very nice, easy house plant. It likes bright light. It stayed on the lanai all last winter with no problem.
And as I mentioned earlier, the nursery said not to put water in the "cup," as the flower won't last as long if you do. I've always watered mine at the soil level. It doesn't even need watering very often--maybe once a week or even less frequently.
I would be surprised if any Zika turned up in TV. The only bugs they allow here are love bugs!
