I think he should have stayed away from her from day 1. He knew what you and I know about her last election.
It made me and others question his judgement. He went to Flint yesterday to get the black vote. But instead of talking about their water as he was invited to do he tried to read his campaign script and was interrupted. Good judgement would be to respect the offer and talk about the "plumbing" after being briefed by experts, so he knows what he is talking about. He could have thrown the "I am a builder and contractor card." I'm going to send some of my contractors to reevaluate the situation as I did with the skating rink and see if there is anyway I could help.
His speech only antagonized the same people he was hoping to include.
