If you are handy and want to do the work yourself, here is what I would do.
Drain spa, you may need to borrow a sump pump.
TURN OFF POWER, REPEAT MAKE SURE THE POWER IS OFF.
Remove motor and pump unit, there should be removable joints at both the input and output. Take pictures before and after.
Remove wiring, take pictures before and after.
Take the pump and motor to Pinch-a-penny (Leesburg rt441 south of the Walmart, near Harbor Freight) I think they carry these components, you could also call first.
Reverse above procedure, and VERY IMPORTANT, follow your spa instructions for filling and starting the pump so you do not damage the new pump.
My neighbor had T&D pool and Spa repair his above ground unit, and as I recall it took 3 or 4 trips before everything was working correctly. Not other experience.
