Never crowded (in fact, just the opposite), large, clean, and very well stocked.
Lots of locations, but only 2 grocery stores. That is why grocery prices there are INSANE. I can't even go in Publix - it is like 7 bucks for a pound of bacon. yikes. We used to have the same problem in SE Wisconsin when it was just Roundy's (Pick N Save), Piggly Wiggly, and Sentry. Then Sentry went down. Prices just kept going up until We got Super Walmart, Super Target, Woodmans (giant employee owned stores) and Meijer's in here. Now my food bill is less than 2/3 of what it was(and it used to be way less than the Villages prices). Competition is always a good thing.
