Having the luck to have been born a white male, I certainly had a head start in my middle-class upbringing...then worked hard up through the system for all my success.
Strike two.
Googling my real name and industry, the entire front page has my name and articles associated with it (I just tried it ).
Throwing out the LinkedIn references, that's still not too bad.
Strike three (I'm gonna give you a few more strikes...since you need them).
And exactly what is so bad about being 'dependent' on your own accomplishments...and savvy financial planning?
Strike four.
Compared to the other 96% of folks, yeah maybe it fits.
But having busted my a$$ to do so...leaves me with no regrets or guilt.
Strike five.
My tax attorney actually asked if I was fudging on what I give. To allay his concern, I showed him my charity spreadsheet. A number of those charities even get an automatic monthly deduction from my bank account.
His comment was... "that's a lot higher % than most of my clients."
Strike six and you're out TWICE...in one at-bat.
Actually, I'm a 'model Centrist.'
Having voted for Reagan, H.W. and The Simpleton the first time for each (I thought they were the better candidate, until they showed their spots)...I am far from the partisan hack so many of you have shown to be.
So sorry, although I hate to burst your bubble on your flailings in the dark...I do have to admit to enjoying busting y'alls bigotry/racism/xenophobia/homophobia/misogyny/intolerance/hatefulness/etc..

Nice diatribe, but you are not very convincing when you are an @ss h***.
