I liked the Boy Scouts, a great organization. Well, in San Pedro, Mr Greene got me started on my first ship, a tanker, going all over the world, carrying fuel from the Persian Gulf to Military Positions. Well!!!,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, a job, a permanent home, a good salary, a great learning challenge, and all the travel one could want, every day! That started a great life again for me. Best day of my life, walking up that gangway of that first ship was a walk out into a new life.
