My daughter wrote a letter to one of my old military units that advertised college grants for Vets. She not only got a grant but a letter telling her to submit again next semester and they would be happy to award her with another grant. Another way to obtain a degree is to do it while in the military. The military will pay your way. The Air Force even has their own community college. Some jobs will pay part or all of your tuition if you pursue a degree that would benefit your job.
There is no excuse of college being too expensive. Everyone can go to college if they use their head. But, if you can't use your head to subsidize college, then perhaps you do not deserve to attend college.
College tuition being too expensive is just a scapegoat for the weak. An excuse and proof that some folks should not waste their time and the instructor's time.

There are ALREADY too many graduates for too few jobs. If you're not near the top, if you don't network, you don't have a chance.
