I suggest you do some reading.
Voters are fleeing the party because of Trump. He will tell you he is adding but all he did was add to the open voting states in the primary.
Most downticket candidates are insuring voters do not tie themselves to Trump.
Yes..party would have problems without Trump but now they are huge. The party is fractured just simply because of Trump. You have to read more about the real world.
And imagine a Trump presidency with Dems in charge. Is he the great communicator to bring people together. He has repeatly insulted his own party members.
