I think that the predjudice against gas carts is based in experience with the old ones. We rented a gas cart (not from the Villiages) during our visit to TV. It was awful!!! Loud, smelly, bumpy, we decided gas was definitely not for us. Maybe a golf cart wasn't for us either...we are city people and it sure was slow.

Then I rode in Bright's gas cart. It was quiet (we never stopped talking and we heard every word), not smelly, and not very bumpy. The ride seemed short...was that the conversation or was it faster?? Now I am not sure whether our cart will be gas or electric...but I think we will get one. I guess it will be "the best deal."
