Trump's "judgement" good or bad has made him a lot of money. It has also won him the nomination to legally run for the office of president of the United States.

Judgement is tempered by having good advisors. I believe that Trump will choose those with a reputation of being experts in their fields rather than cronies that he owes favors to. I know the opposite will happen if Hillery is elected.
