We bought a 08 electric Club Car Precedent from Masters Golf Carts up my the flea market and saved a fair amount of $. They have treated us good and service on a few minor items has been very good so far.
Gas vs Electric? Before we bought we tried both electric and gas 07 and 08 models from Club car and Yamaha. There was no doubt in our mind that the new gas carts were still louder, smelled and had a rougher start and stop ride. The question was then what about the range. We live By LSL and have take the cart from one end of the villages to the opposite end and played 9 holes of golf returning in the dark with the lights on. My battery low light did come on toward the end of the ride but that still indicates about 1/4 charge left and I think our backs would give out before the battery if we tried to drive any further. Batteries of course are brand new so I do expect as they age we "may" not be able to go as far but right now they seem more than sufficient.
