Definitely do a search on this one - there was a very interesting thread about Tank less Hot Water heaters awhile back. It really came up as part of a discussion about why it took a long time to get hot water in their bathroom, so it may not appear to be about tank less HW.
Also try PM'ing Villages Kahuna, as I recall he is a big fan of these systems.
