Default Shrub & Tree Trimming Service Recommendations

Greetings All,

We are new to the Villages, (Sanibel), and this is my first post on Talk.

I currently have a company that mows and trims the lawn and does a very good job but seems too busy to take on the added task of keeping shrubs and trees trimmed and neat.

I was really hoping to have one contractor do both, our current lawn company does 5 or 6 of my neighbors and it makes sense to stay with him and have him do both jobs. And quite frankly, he's a real good guy. But meanwhile, things are getting overgrown.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a reliable contractor who trims shrubs and trees? Also, I'm from the northeast so I'm really not sure how frequently shrubs and trees require trimming in this climate.

On another topic, we are currently part-time residents. I've met a couple of our neighbors and my wife and I are both amazed at the friendliness, openness, and the willingness of our neighbors to help with a number of matters while we are not on site. Wonderful people. I realize that I shouldn't mention names but I want to publicly thank our terrific neighbors for all their help. You are the best.

Best regards.
