You can call Comcast number and ask for the retention department. Tell them you are thinking of changing to Direct TV. First go on Direct TV website and find an introductory offer for new customers that is a better deal than you are currently getting and is more in line with your budget. They are usually willing to give you a package of some kind that will last for 6 months to a year. Don't take the first offer they give you, stick to your guns. I have had them give me three offers before I accepted. Then you will need to call them again in 6 months to a year when your bill goes up again. It's a game they play.
