You can purchase plugins that emit a high pitched sound that can't be heard by your pets. The are old 4 to a pack( we got ours in Walmart) We plugged one in on our patio and in the garage. Prior to using them, we were getting geckos in the house about 4-5 times a week. My 2 cats loved it but they are difficult to catch. The plugins worked. We've only had one since June. The geckos are good to have around the outside. They eat the bugs; but we would rather they don't reside with us.
