Bourbon Street replaced the Italian restaurant which replaced...what was it before? Don't remember. Also, the joint across the street changed last year. I was Oles and became something else or was something else and became Oles.

What was in the Copper Pot space before it folded and became a Mexican restaurant? An Irish Steakhouse -- upscale prices/midscale quality

Big City Grill is replacing the sub sandwich place at Spanish Springs after only a few months. What was it before that? A Mexican joint --- yuppie-ish. No candle to El Ranchito

We stopped by the new seafood restaurant in the Spanish Plaines shopping center the other night. They were telling people that it would take 90 minutes to get something to eat...on a Tuesday off-season night! If you want to try that one, better hurry.

The Villages leasing agents have their hands full. So maybe it would be worthwhile if we just concentrated on what we'd like to see in just one of the open storefronts...the recently vacated Whiskey Creek location. Lots of stuff might work there--it's a pretty good location. I'll take a flyer here. I'd vote for...

OAKWOOD BARBECUE (West or #2 or whatever)

What would you like to see in that location? I'd rather have a good BBQ place --- not another Sonny's either. Oakwood's better than nothing, but I can dream. I'd take a Boston Market, but not a good location.
