The original post on this thread simply pointed out that the GOP had an absolute LOCK on this election. With an unpopular sitting President, a less popular nominated candidate by the Dems, and a country wanting change, all the GOP had to do was select someone reasonable - Jeb, Mario or Kasich. Instead they allowed the right-wing extremists to choose the most unpalatable (to the swing voters like me who always hold the voting power) person imaginable, much to the horror of mainstream Republicans. This is an obvious fact now that the votes are being cast. Instead of examining the root cause and effect of this political dynamic, the whole thread devolved into a 6th grade wrestling match that never dealt with the original post. Is this really what all of you spend your time doing? Very sad.
