My Dad loves All'aglio e Olio, I used to make it for him all the time, but I can't eat too much garlic. Can you imagine an Italian who can't eat garlic, sounds like a sin...

In the Bronx, a very, very Italian neighborhood, we would leave church and smell all the cooking of "gravy" (Ronda) all the way home and by the time we got home, we were into the pot for meatballs or bracolia. Sometimes, if we were really hungry (you couldn't eat before receiving communion in those days), we'd cross the street to grandma's and eat all her bracolia from her pot before going home. She never complained, she was so happy to have her grandkids to feed.

Great memories, I'm getting hungry!
