It's amazing how some people will hate so much...that they believe anything.
The items the Clinton's kept was solely due to their understanding of what was allowed for them to keep.
When they found out that some of the items were in fact not allowed to be declared as personal gifts (which they could legally keep), they paid the market rate for them.
