I did this up North, and while the car cover did what was advertised, the wind and movement of the cover over several sections of the car actually rubbed off the paint!! So, IMHO, you might want to consider covered storage, we used the storage facility on 441 (Fruitland park), about 1/2 mile North of 441. If I recall correctly, it was $110/month. This is a fraction of the cost of touching up paint.

PS our cover was over $100, not cheap, it kept the car dry and clean, but I never considered the constant rubbing from the wind.
