We are as usual traveling, and even so the kids all managed to track us down to wish HB a happy birthday on Saturday and me a happy Father's Day on Sunday. I'm not big into the holiday personally--a little too hokey and commercial for my taste--but it was really sweet of the kids, and knowing it's more for them than for me, I never discourage them or disparage the holiday....
