I did have Tom Cruise on my e-mail list for a few years and I suspect he did read some of those e-mails. He did go a little too overboard though and there are probably many stories like mine he heard about. Even had someone claiming to be George Clooney contact me while I was posting on Findlaw but that might just have been the libido of Vanessa D., a Lifetime Research Assistant who had been questioning me about doing a Lifetime story on all this. He said "I am George Clooney and I am dating Vanessa" or something like that in an e-mail. He did want to hear quite a bit about what was going on.
I have been running this story by Hollywood since at least 1992 maybe even 1991 but to reflect whatever was happening at that time.
Hollywood can spotlight a problem in very creative ways and often very subtle ones.
Vanessa D, is a very attractive woman BTW so she could have been telling the truth. She's still around. Not in CA nor FL though.

As you no doubt know, a malpractice case has to be worth northward of $400,000 for any reputable law firm to get interested. It would be hard to show damages near that since they would all be subjective.
As far as the Hollywierd crowd goes, I'd be careful about anyone claiming to be anybody on the net----although Tom may be looking for converts to scientology---beware if Travolta contacts you next
