The desk sergeant at the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office was a woman who asked me if I had been in the care of a psychiatrist after I told her I had been the victim of a terrorist attack.
I had to reach into my binder and pull up a letter from my US Representative from Palm Harbor who had been helping me deal with a very nasty troll on Findlaw's message boards.
I waved this in front of her and she called out a Detective whom I talked with for a while and then handed him maybe 106 copies of various letters I had received in this effort of mine to get practical materials for survivors/victims into libraries of all kinds.
I remember the name of the Detective but will not post that.
This was on September 18, 2002. The Detective said that they had mixed feelings about very well informed survivor/victims of crimes. They would be a little harder to handle I assume. This was in a telephone call I made to the Detective.
I did continue to inform them on updates via e-mail but I over-did it as I often do and a second Detective told me that his colleague had homicide investigations he needed to work on. I was not sure what Criminal Intelligence meant.
I have the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office as one the many police departments I follow on Facebook.
I had sent packets of these 106 letters many places around that time via snail mail.
I did write a detailed account of that "terrorist attack". This was posted on Findlaw and was up for a while. It did prompt many personal attacks but also private messages from various people like Vanessa D., and the Scientologists or maybe that one was one of my many e-mails.
