In order to get golf carts south of Rt 44 you will need a golf cart bridge or tunnel. Of course, you will need the same at the Florida Turnpike to connect the village of Fenney. I know one Developer capable of doing this job and has been successful at doing it before.

In short, there is a lot of land available south of Rt. 44 and it is very likely to be developed one day. I prefer the Morse family be that Developer because they did a quality job building what we know as The Villages. Fore!

I have a friend that works at one of the Recreation Centers... when the Sheriff is called (at times) the response times are unacceptable from time to time
Yes, I can speak to this issue.. retired from this area after 30 yrs. so yes.. I will say again this area is not keeping up.. Recently there was an
issue at Rohan Rec Center in need of Medical Personnel.. Not going into details with this thread.
Nothing is perfect----try calling 911 in New York City. Since you were in the field, you know response time can vary due to a large number of factors.

As far as future development south of 44 goes, "Where there is a will, there is a way"
