The problem is not the closeness of the towers, but the idiotic placement transmitting across the marshes, many areas on the same streets are hit and miss, and can change from day to day. If you are or have purchased a home in the area, the best thing to do is to take multiple readings of signal strength inside that home, and on the lanai. In areas affected, concrete clock and poured concrete will suffer the most. Also homes built 2015 or later are more susceptible, as radiant barriers may add a little more to the challenge.

I had a Verizon microcell and had terrible results with it. The best solution around it though on either Verizon or AT&T (can't speak for the rest of them) is if you have an iPhone, to enable WIFI calling when you are at home. This way you end up using your home internet for your cell calls anyway--when you are home. I assume Android has a similar function.
