It has everything to do with right and wrong. If a person does something wrong it is more wrong to not let them know they are doing so.
So you are in line at the restaurant in TV for an hour. A couple comes in the door and steps in front of you asking for a table for 2. Your response?

The 'PC' response would be along the lines of....
"Excuse me, but we have been in line waiting for a table and I believe we are ahead of you."
Whereas the azzholes would prefer...
"Hey jerk, go to the back of the line."
But hey, I get that you would prefer the latter over the former...therefore proving my assertion.
