In case you don't remember, Pakistan was, or is our friend. We sold hundreds of fighter/attack jets to them, and we do have an embassy there. We also intervene with our naval presence quite often when things get heated between China and Taiwan. Unlike Obie, I doubt Trump will be bowing to our enemies. His accepting a phone call from the leader of Taiwan may have ticked off China but their building a new military island in the South China Sea should have ticked us off. China has been secretly building it's military for many years. It is inevitable that we will eventually have an armed conflict with China. Anyone that thinks otherwise is in denial. They use any excuse in an attempt to intimidate us.
