That Ol Devil Moon
Okay, this topic might be a bit unusual, but has anyone looked at the moon tonight. First of all, it's not full. That would have been too perfect. It's probably 3/4 - 7/8 full, kinda like an over inflated rugby ball. A bit earlier when it was lower, there were dark wispy clouds flitting over it -- looked like a painting of a halloween sky. As it rose, if was just sensational. The "Man in the Moon" just leaps out at you, so obvious, so identifiable, so lovely. Were I a romantic poet or a composer, I'd write sonnets. Were I with my beloved, I'd be in ecstasy -- of course then I wouldn't be on this damned computer.
If you're around TV and see this in time, go outside and look up. It's worth it.
