Once again mine is not a lecture but a reminder and dare I say given the abusive remarks rendered on this forum by the same posters one needed desperately.

Your accusation that I try taking the high road is inaccurate. I don't try I have always done so. Its not difficult all it takes is being an adult and being an adult means controlling your emotions. It has its drawbacks because its why posters like you level attacks knowing I won't strike back below the belt.

1. Have you ever once, apologized to forum readers for posting totally misinformation and presenting it as fact ?
2. Have you ever once apologized to forum readers for utilizing websites or quoting them, without accreditation in violation of TOTV rules ?
3. Have you ever once apologized to forum readers for using FALSE websites in substantiating an argument ?
I have read your posts for years, and you do not need to do any of these things, but there has been a radical swing to your comments and you have disregarded facts for the extreme conspiracy theories, as espoused by some candidates.
If I erred on identifying you for ALL my points, I apologize.
I am tired of being lectured by people who do not even take the time to read about issues, who totally disregard journalists who work hard, present facts for us to learn.
I am tired of posters ignoring TOTV rules on copyright and simply stealing articles AND pictures, etc then lecturing others on what is right and wrong.
I do not profess perfection, but I do profess an attempt at being informed. I try very hard to return to the forum if I err in what I say, factually, and correcting and apologizing.
THAT IS what this forum used to be about, not simply condemning a main stream media type, but reading and getting to know the issue involved and disagreeing based on facts.
It never used to be about quoting far, erratic, crazy websites who have no purpose in educating you, but simply to sway you.
ALL media is bias.....always has been. WE have simply become lazy, and .well......truth is if our President is quoting crazy places (see AlexJones) and spouting conspiracy theories, what hope do we have.
I am old fashioned. I love reading and I love being informed. More than most, I hate lying and discussing an issue with someone who does not even make an attempt at learning.
Demeaning a race, religion, sex, political preference is NOT..NOT having political discussion. Blaming the media for all our ills is NOT discussing politics.
Sorry for the rant. This forum, as mentioned, used to be a great source of INFORMATION and discussion.
It now seems to be a vehicle for radicalism on both sides, and certainly not rooted in factual discussion.
Not required for posters to know anything, or have a grasp on facts, but it seems to be manifesting our world right now. Just talk louder, not smarter or informed, just louder with as much bravado as necessary.
I see our country getting dumber (sorry not nice but how I feel), nastier and certainly meaner.
I fear for our future, as we become a living example, not of what we were, but of a failing country. We are no longer an example of good will, or anything good for that matter.
Strength is not military, or words. Strength is doing right. That is not liberal or conservative...it used to be the American way.
The current mantra of making America great again, in my opinion, chose the wrong attributes to be used as examples of greatness.
