Watermelons and cattle.
Was talking with a woman who works at the Odell farm house dating to the 1920s. They moved it in 1990. She mentioned that the Odells had been the big time farmers in that period and most of what is now part of the Villages, the Odells used for cattle raising and growing watermelon.
The Odell farm house is something else now.
