You have it wrong.
He did not say that to scare anybody. He was serving notice on those who would harm us.....that are mixed in with the good folks....so stop and sort them out.
We understand that there are a lot of free rides provided by the government for non citizens and illegal immigrants.
And Trump represents a threat to their free ride.
Hence he is portrayed as scary.
They should also know that those of us who voted for him, enough to get him elected, support exactly those kinds of actions.
The really scary one is the one currently in the WH as he opens the borders wider and looks past anything illegals do, opens the border wider, selectively does not enforce laws......very scary indeed.
