My only hope is that once Trump's programs are put into place the things begin getting better in this country that some of those on the left will begin to understand.

How do you compromise when one side (reps) wants to end Medicare, privatize social security and the VA and the other side (dems) want to keep these programs as is? Republicans have been trying to roll back FDR's New Deal for 80 years, in the case of Social Security, and now they see their chance with Trump in the White House. Where is the common ground?
