This Christmas please remember the dogs and cats that people throw out and end up in shelters or with rescues. Please select a couple and make a small donation. These shelters and rescues cannot do what they do without kind people like yourself helping them. Remember if you donate to a 501(c)3 non-profit you can write it off on your taxes. So you and the animals win.
Below is a photo of a little old guy we (Florida Dachshund Rescue) just took in. He has medical issues that need to be addressed, as well as a rotten mouth. He was pulled from a shelter. (He did not hold a grudge for having to wear a pink leash even though he is a boy.) Our rescue is dedicated to getting him all better. This is just one example of what rescues do.
We and other organizations are only able to do what we do because of kind people who help us out with donations.
