Only 136.2 mil voted. Today 41 mil are over 65 yrs old. The group getting ready for Medicare 60-64 yrs old is 17 mil. That would make 58/136.2 or 42.5 % of avg number of people that vote on or near Medicare. I say go ahead to my politicians and screw with Medicare and watch what happens to at election time.
