As a white man, I sincerely feel sorry for those of you who are white male or female, and for some reason, feel intimidated or "put upon" because of your skin color.
I can honestly say I felt absolutely no different about my skin color under the Obama administration, not intimidated, not uncomfortable, no more than G Bush presidency made me feel less Texan.
I felt just as Christian, just as white as ever.
Nor, did I ever meet anyone who felt intimidated or any different about their skin color because Obama was President.
The media felt obliged to force more race questions that in the past, and pay more attention to anyone not white who was appointed or worked with the President.
So whatever slight felt by white people is unfortunate. Actually, my disagreements with President Obama were on policy and I never thought about his skin color when disagreeing.
In my world, the Presidents race had no affect whatsoever.
In my world, the Presidents policies did have an effect.
