I can honestly say I felt absolutely no different about my skin color under the Obama administration, not intimidated, not uncomfortable, no more than G Bush presidency made me feel less Texan.
I felt just as Christian, just as white as ever.
Nor, did I ever meet anyone who felt intimidated or any different about their skin color because Obama was President.
The media felt obliged to force more race questions that in the past, and pay more attention to anyone not white who was appointed or worked with the President.
So whatever slight felt by white people is unfortunate. Actually, my disagreements with President Obama were on policy and I never thought about his skin color when disagreeing.
In my world, the Presidents race had no affect whatsoever.
In my world, the Presidents policies did have an effect.

Easy to say when you live and play in the white paradise.
"Your world" isn't the real world where racial preferences and quotas DO make white feel discriminated upon. You don't "fix" discrimination by discriminating. You "fix" it by going to merit based positioning...you EARN your spot. The trouble is...when you do it that way...it becomes 99% white males. So...they "fix" that with quotas of people who weren't the best...and the nation goes from #1 to #25 and becomes poorer and poorer.
The media is FULL of black "people". Their "normalcy" is pushed on us all day, every day. The trouble is...that "normal black family" doesn't exist. At least for the other 99%. It's like going to some trailer trash trailer park and thinking that ALL white people live like that. No, only 1% do. Same with "smart blacks", that's the 1%, the other 99% live like the trailer trash whites.
I'm tired of the lies and I KNOW it's why the young people believe what they do. They think most blacks are "normal", like them, and what they see every day, the violence, the thievery, of blacks, in their school or town, is the outlier.
