I know this doesn't seem like a big deal to hearing people.There was a thread on this topic. What came out of that thread is it is a big deal to deaf people. For us that hear, we can't understand what it is like see pictures but not know what is going on.
Also, I know many people who do watch it. I am in a Chautauqua Club and I know most of us watch it because we all have gotten on it from time to time. Love seeing ourselves on TV, especially during Senior Games.
I think you are right about using it for advertising but the powers that be have complete control of that. Talk Host said that on the other thread.
